VULCANO sub-tips are made of stainless steel, with the central part made of beryllium alloy.
The coupling between the two elements is a geometric fit of micrometric precision, but without effective contact between them.
A very thin film with a silicone-based polymer keeps the two materials separate.
The sound effect is unique.

VULCANO sub-tips can be ordered in different color shades,
with color variations obtained by PVD deposition, (Phisical Vapor Deposition) with Titanium nitride and Tungsten nitride coatings.
Choice pairings can be from:
Inox base color: Chrome or Black
Beryllium interior color: Copper yellow or Black
